Delta Kappa Delta Sorority is the first Indian Subcontinental Sorority to be established on the Binghamton University campus. Although our cultural roots are fundamentally South Asian, association is open to all ladies who are dedicated to improving our community through service and charity. We are an organization focused on service, and since our establishment we have been involved in various charitable events throughout the Southern Tier. We help our University by increasing awareness about the dangers of child abuse with events like our annual "Walk Against Child Abuse". In the local community, we volunteer our time and effort at various organizations such as the Children's Home of Wyoming and Tabernacle Church. We also tutor children at local middle schools and high schools, as well as the Boys and Girls Club of Binghamton. It is through this service that our Sisterhood has been created and is continually strengthened.
